Dog boarding for Stafford and Sugar Land travelers

Stafford and Sugar Land sit just southwest of Houston along the Southwest Freeway, and plenty of people who live there spend their workdays inside the city. If you're one of them, dog boarding near Stafford doesn't have to mean a facility right next door. Pawliday Inn is on Cedarhurst Dr in southwest Houston, on the city side of your usual commute. Drop your dog off on a workday before a trip, or on your way out of town, and they get a staffed, structured stay while you're away.

Why Stafford and Sugar Land families look at boarding in southwest Houston

There are boarding options closer to home in Fort Bend County, and for some families those make the most sense. Here's when coming to us works well.

You already commute this way

If you work in southwest Houston, the Texas Medical Center or elsewhere along the Southwest Freeway or South Main corridor, we're along a route you already drive. Dropping your dog off the morning before a trip, or picking them up on the way home after you return, fits into a normal workday instead of adding a separate errand.

Your dog already knows us

Dogs who come to daycare with us already know our staff and yards. For those dogs, an overnight stay can feel less strange than a brand-new place. If you work nearby, daycare a few days a week can be an easy way to get your dog comfortable before you travel.

Business travel

Stafford is home to many office parks and employers along the freeway, and many Sugar Land residents travel for work. If you travel often, a single, familiar boarding routine makes each trip easier for your dog and for you.

Optional add-ons include walks, basic baths and extra meals.

We encourage you to bring your dog's own food, toys and blankets. Our packing list for dog boarding covers what else to bring, including medication and routine notes.

Weekend boarding has a two-night minimum. Our page on weekend dog boarding in Houston explains how to plan Friday and Saturday departures.

Booking requirements

You can book online, and a card on file is required. Boarding reservations take a deposit, with the balance due at pick-up.

Every dog needs current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations, plus regular flea, tick and intestinal parasite prevention. We may refuse service to dogs who don't meet our requirements or who show signs of illness or a contagious condition.

Please also tell us about any aggression, fearfulness, resource guarding, separation anxiety, escape tendencies, or prior bites or injuries.

Prepaid night packages are available, which can help if you travel often. Current rates are on our homepage. Full rules are on our policies page.
