Dog boarding for Westbury and Willow Meadows neighbors

If you live in Westbury or Willow Meadows, you don't have to cross town to find dog boarding. Pawliday Inn is right here in the same part of southwest Houston, on Cedarhurst Dr. Your dog stays close to home with staff on site 24/7, and you can drop off or pick up without planning your whole day around a long drive.

Dog boarding in Westbury and Willow Meadows: why close matters

Westbury and Willow Meadows are established neighborhoods, built largely in the 1950s and 1960s, with single-story ranch homes, mature trees and fenced backyards. You'll find long-time owners who have been on the same street for decades alongside younger families who bought their first house here. Both groups tend to have the same boarding question: who watches the dog when we're gone, and how much hassle is it?

Being nearby changes the answer in a few practical ways.

Easy drop-off before an early flight

Early flights are hard on dog owners. Instead of a pre-dawn scramble, many neighbors drop their dog off the afternoon or evening before they leave, during our regular hours, then head to the airport from home in the morning. On the way back, pickup is a short drive, not a second trip across the city.

A trial night is simple

If your dog has never boarded, a short trial stay is a smart first step. Living close makes it easy: drop off, spend a night or two at home, pick up. You'll see how your dog handles it before a longer trip, and your dog learns that you come back.

Forgot something? It's not a big deal

When you live a few streets away, a forgotten bag of food or favorite blanket is a quick errand, not a crisis. Call us first at (346) 522 4472 so we know you're coming.

When neighbors in Westbury and Willow Meadows board

Travel is the obvious reason, but not the only one. A few situations come up often in this part of town.

What overnight boarding includes

Every boarding guest gets the same core care:

We encourage you to bring your dog's own food, toys and blankets. Familiar food helps avoid upset stomachs, and something that smells like home helps many dogs settle. If you're not sure what to bring, use our boarding packing list.

Optional add-ons

You can add walks, basic baths or extra meals to a stay. A basic bath before pickup is popular with neighbors who'd rather the dog come home clean than smelling like a fun week.

Health and behavior requirements

Every dog needs current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations, plus regular flea, tick and intestinal parasite prevention. Please tell us about any known behavior, such as aggression, fearfulness, resource guarding, separation anxiety, escape tendencies, or prior bites or injuries. We may refuse service to dogs that don't meet the requirements or that show signs of illness or a contagious condition.
